Stage 10 of 10 · from idea to first customer

Measure what works and improve

Free analytics, funnels, feedback loops and simple unit economics that show what to keep and what to drop.

From your first visitor onward, numbers tell you where people drop off and what keeps them. You do not need a data team: free analytics, a funnel with four steps and a weekly sheet of five or six numbers cover it.

Pair the numbers with conversations. Analytics shows what happened, and interviews with people who stayed or left tell you why.

What you should have at the end of this stage

Analytics that track one main goal, a funnel with the biggest drop identified, a product-market fit check and a weekly habit of reviewing it all.
